CommsXpress: Dodo Looking To Offer Broadband at Under $40/mo

Bargain basement broadband provider Dodo has announced plans to soon offer an entry-level internet plan in Australia for less than $40 per month. The company stated that the new plan will not have unlimited access, but will offer users up to 12Mbps/1Mbps on the NBN Co.’s network at a price point similar to its current ADSL2+ product.

Plans are for the service to first launch in Townsville and Brunswick beginning next month. Dodo says that it will announce pricing on a completely new line of NBN Co services within the next few days.
